THE SCHOOL STRATEGIC FACILITIES
Library Resource Room
In addition to our 20,000 library books, both fiction and non-fiction, our resources include audio and videotapes, computer charts, local and international newspapers, periodicals, cuttings and pictures.
The library room provides ample space for private study.
Health Care System
We keep a watchful eye on the health of all our students. There are two resident doctors and nine nurses on duty at the hostel and medical centres 24 hours a day. The centre includes separate infirmaries for girls and boys, a well-equipped surgery and doctor's accommodation.
Transportation System
For students' welfare the school has a special arrangement with Okada Airlines to fly students to Lagos and Port-Harcourt airport accompanied by escort teachers.
The school provides buses for excursions.
Language Laboratory
Igbinedion Education Centre has a well equipped and standard language laboratory where different foreign languages are been taught and learnt using the latest technology.

Musical Instrument
Igbinedion Education Centre has a well equipped musical instrument of different types and forms that can compete with international standard. The music laboratory is furnished with the latest instruments.
Science Laboratory
A powerfully equipped science laboratory is available in Igbinedion Education Centre pupils are practically involved in real life demostration of the scientific theorem thought them.
Computer Laboratory
A well equipped computer facility is available in Igbinedion Education Centre that enable pupils carry out a personal research in order to be well furnished with the latest technology.
Boarding Facilities
The housemasters, housemistress and matrons are assisted by a team of teachers, resident in site, with further support in the evenings and at weekends from day staff. The ratio of resident staff to boarding pupils is good, thus ensuring high standards of supervision and control.
