Dear parents, in view of some of the difficulties you encountered while accessing our termly results, we have reviewed the use of scratch cards. Henceforth, ONLY THE STUDENT'S ACCESS CODE given to them by their respective Principals will be used to access our termly results, effective from Third Term of the 2021/2022 session. Thank you for entrusting your child/ward into our care.
The final-year students of Igbinedion Education Centre have again re-enacted the school's well-known tradition of academic excellence in the external examinations as shown by the 2023 WAEC/SSCE results recently released by the examining body. In spite of the fact that the performance of students in the exam was relatively poor nationwide, the students of IEC, like an oasis in the desert shown brightly, displaying excellent performance in every subject. Our school was among the best that did well in 2023 WASSC with about 90% of our students passing with distinctions. We use this medium to congratulate all our students for maintaining the tradition of our school and keeping the flag flying.

OCTOBER 2023: HISTORIC EXCURSION BY STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF IEC TO THE UNITED KINGDOM. 6. NOVEMBER, 2023. ARTS AND CULTURAL FESTIVAL - JUNIOR SCHOOL 7. DECEMBER 8TH, 2023. FIRST TERM HOLIDAY BEGINS. Miss Anita Osarieme Omonuwa who graduated from Igbinedion Education Centre in 2009 recently filled her alma-mater, her parents and all students in the United Kingdom with abundant sense of pride and ecstasy when she graduated from the Reading University in the United Kingdom with a First Class degree in Law. Miss Omonuwa has a track record of excellence right from childhood.
We are using this medium to inform all Ex-students of Igbinedion Junior Secondary School who sat for the JSCE from 1994 to 2006 to visit the school for the collection of their original certificates from NECO. IGBINEDION SECONDARY SCHOOL HAS DONE IT AGAIN BY EMERGING THE 5TH BEST SCHOOL IN NIGERIA IN THE 2015 MAY/JUNE WAEC EXAM. IT IS ON RECORD THAT IGBINEDION SECONDARY SCHOOL HAS CONSISTENTLY MAINTAIN THIS RATING SINCE 1994 WHEN IT STARTED WRITING THE WAEC EXAM. SEE DETAILS BELOW
Consequent upon the closure of all schools nationwide due to the COVID -19 pandemic, the management of Igbinedion Education Centre organised online lectures for all students in Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary arms of the school. The zoom lesson was also organised recently during the holiday for students in Junior and Senior Secondary to revise with them in view of their external examinations.

IEC Old Students' Association has officially opened their Alumni Office in the school compound. All Old Students are kindly requested to visit the office which is beside the Accounts Department of the school anytime they visit the school for documentation.
